Migaloo is an 80’s child and rocks the southern oceans on his journey South every winter. He was first spotted near Byron Bay and has a massive fan club and even his own website. His name is a Queeensland Aboriginal word which means a ghost, spirit or “White Fella”! 🐳

Humpback whales visit Australia’s shoreline between April and November each year. On their migration they are often seen with their calves and are renowned for their spectacular jumps called ‘breaching’. They communicate by singing beautiful songs.
